Carly joined the team in May 2017 to assist on ecological surveys including protected species building assessments, preliminary ecological appraisals as well as report writing and European protected species licence applications. Her experience to date includes working with private clients on a range of projects from small residential developments to large infrastructure scheme. Carly also has specialist skills and knowledge with invertebrate ecology and surveys.

She is an active member of Devon Bat Group and regularly undertakes bat conservation and monitoring activities, and is working towards gaining her class 2 bat licence. She is also a Lecturer in Ecology at Bicton College where she teaches on the Conservation and Countryside Management foundation degree.

In her spare time she enjoys walking (and occasionally running) and is currently attempting to complete the south-west coast path.
